Stick to your convictions
If you believe in something, stick to it. By all means, listen to others and see if there is any good in what they say. But be confident about yourself and make your own decision.
For example, if you are a doctor, and you believe in a certain treatment, and someone praises another doctor’s method, evaluate it, but stick to your own convictions about it if you believe it is correct, or come to your own conclusions about it. Don’t waver. This is true in every walk of life for everyone.
