The Tabla is a percussion instrument (similar to bongos) which is used in Hindustani classical music and in traditional music of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The instrument consists of a pair of hand drums
of contrasting sizes and timbres.
